Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan Clause Samples
The Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan clause requires parties to establish and maintain procedures to ensure that essential business operations can continue and critical data can be recovered in the event of disruptions such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, or system failures. Typically, this involves creating documented plans, conducting regular testing, and designating responsible personnel to manage recovery efforts. The core function of this clause is to minimize operational downtime and data loss, thereby protecting both parties from significant business and financial risks during unforeseen events.
