BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVE AND STEWARDS. 19.01 The Business Manager (s) and\or Agent(s) and\or the International Representative of the Union shall have access with his vehicle to and on the job site of the Employer during working hours to investigate any matter or to discuss any matter regarding the application of this Collective Agreement. 19.02 The Employer may require that a Business Representative or International Representative seeking access to the site shall first report to a designated person or his representative before carrying out a visit and may provide an Identification Pass to be presented at an approved gate. 19.03 It is agreed that the union may appoint a job ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ from among the employees of the Employer and the Employer shall be notified of the appointment in writing. 19.04 Stewards shall be allowed a reasonable time to handle on site grievances during working hours without loss of pay. 19.05 The job ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall be the last employee covered under the terms of this Agreement to remain on the job, provided that he is qualified and capable of performing the work. 19.06 The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, where possible, will be responsible for reporting any grievance to the Employer and to the Union so that it may be dealt with without unduly delay. 19.07 No discrimination shall be shown against any ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for carrying out his duties. Stewards shall be included in all overtime work if qualified to perform the work.
BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVE AND STEWARDS. The Business Representative authorized by the Union shall have access to all projects during working hours and shall not unduly impede the progress of the work. On projects where for security reasons the Business Representative must be cleared through the owner’s office, the employer will assist the union to obtain this clearance. The employer shall be notified in writing of any ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ appointed and the number of Stewards of any project shall not exceed the number of foremen on any project. Where more than one ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is appointed one shall be appointed as the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and the employer advised in writing. The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall have authority to prevent any employee from working in an unsafe place or area where safety regulations are being violated, and must report it immediately to the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or appropriate representative of the employer. Where there is more than one ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ on the project, the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall be allowed necessary time to conduct business relative to this Agreement on the project without loss of pay. Where there is only one ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ on the project, the above condition shall apply to him. It shall be the duty of the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ to observe conditions of employment to the end that the provisions of this Agreement are complied with.   • Parties’ Representatives Both Parties shall ensure that throughout the term of this Agreement, a duly appointed Representative is available for communications between the Parties. The Representatives shall have full authority to deal with all day-to-day matters arising under this Agreement. If a Party’s Representative becomes unavailable, the Party shall promptly appoint another Representative. Acts and omissions of Representatives shall be deemed to be acts and omissions of the Party. Owner and CAISO shall be entitled to assume that the Representative of the other Party is at all times acting within the limits of the authority given by the Representative’s Party. Owner’s Representatives and CAISO’s Representatives shall be identified on Schedule J.

  • City’s Representative The City hereby designates ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇, or his or her designee, to act as its representative for the performance of this Agreement (“City’s Representative”). City’s Representative shall have the power to act on behalf of the City for all purposes under this Contract.
