Calculation of pay for the purposes of parental leave Sample Clauses

The 'Calculation of pay for the purposes of parental leave' clause defines how an employee's pay is determined during periods of parental leave. Typically, this clause outlines the method for calculating pay—such as using average weekly earnings over a specified period prior to the leave—and clarifies which components of compensation (like bonuses or overtime) are included or excluded. Its core function is to ensure transparency and consistency in how parental leave pay is calculated, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring employees understand their entitlements.
