Common use of Call Back Guarantee Clause in Contracts

Call Back Guarantee. a. Where employees are called back to work after having completed a regular shift and prior to the commencement of their regular shift they shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at straight time or time and one half (1 ½) the actual number of hours worked whichever is greater. b. Where the call back is immediately prior to the commencement of their regular shift, the call back pay will only apply to the point of commencement of regular shift at the rate of time and one half (1 ½) after which they shall revert back to the regular shift.
