A copy of the estimated budget is attached as annex B. Crown Agents overall role is to assist the M4M programme in procuring items which will be used for the life of the programme. Crown Agents will demonstrate that its technical and commercial capacity will deliver Value for Money in the management of this programme. The recipient of the services is M4M programme in the Government of Nigeria. Crown Agents, working with M4M, will be responsible for the effective management, coordination and monitoring of the delivery of the programme resources. That will include coordinating closely with the DFID Project Management Unit (PMU). Major milestones of the project are as followed: validation and definition of the following business needs: Vehicles- Cars Vehicles- Motor bikes Office Setup- Furniture and IT equipments Accommodation setup- Team Leader (White goods procurement) Through Identification of appropriate suppliers through the best procurement process that would realise the best value for money, providing clear explanations to DFID on the evaluation and decision criteria. Supervision and management of the implementation/installation of the agreed hardware and software ICT needs by the service provider. Fiduciary discharge on behalf of DFID which would include processing payment as and when services have been delivered to a satisfactory standard by the service provider. This includes mitigating the risk of miss-specification, late delivery, improper installation and connectivity. Ensure optimum project coherence and compatibility of the new ICT system with the wider Government PFM reforms. Ensure broad project adherence to the estimated budget with significant deviations having to be authorised by DFID Nigeria.
