Annex A lists in detail the family core services requirements. Topic Guides Produce guides/packs on key cadre topics to bring advisers up to date on key debates and critical issues. A core set of topic guides/packs/chapters (as appropriate) will be produced and regularly updated (as specified by each professional family) to address the core technical competencies and sub themes of advisory cadres and families. They will support specialist communities of practice and constitute flexible resources to support reading days/weeks (see Structured Professional Development Sessions). A standard topic guide can be between 20 to 35 pages long depending on the subject, breadth of evidence available and the range of other resources available. Topic guides/packs/chapters will be made available online, in accessible formats for distance use, via the PEAKS website and PDF versions will be required for all topic guides. Training and eLearning Directory (including some Materials) Set up, maintain and quality assure an open directory of quality checked super specialist, cadre and family specific training courses. This directory will be available online via the PEAKS website. As required and agreed, design and make available professional technical eLearning modules.
