Common use of Cancellation and Amendment Clause in Contracts

Cancellation and Amendment. The Custodian will use reasonable efforts to act on Proper Instructions to cancel or amend previously issued Proper Instructions if: 22.7.1 the Custodian has not already acted on the previously issued Proper Instructions; and 22.7.2 the Proper Instruction to cancel or amend is received before the applicable deadlines specified from time to time in the Client Publications or applicable event notification. The Custodian is not responsible or liable if the request to cancel or amend cannot be satisfied. In the event that such request to cancel or amend cannot be satisfied, the Custodian will use reasonable efforts to notify Client, in accordance with this Agreement.
