Common use of Cancellation and Destruction Clause in Contracts

Cancellation and Destruction. Each of the Registrar and the Transfer Agent, as the case may be, shall cancel and destroy each mutilated or defaced Note Certificate surrendered to it in respect of which a replacement has been delivered and the Registrar shall, in addition, as promptly as is practicable, enter such details on the Register.
