Common use of Cancellation and Nonrenewal Clause in Contracts

Cancellation and Nonrenewal. a. You may cancel this Policy at any time by providing to Us advance notice of cancellation or Your intent to not renew. b. We may cancel this Policy by mailing or delivering to You written notice of cancellation at least: i. Sixty (60) days if the Policy has been is effect less than sixty days. ii. Thirty (30) days if the Policy has been in effect more than (60) days. c. Policy cancellation is allowed only for the following reasons: i. Fraud. ii. Increase in hazard. iii. Failure to comply with loss control recommendations. iv. Increase in risk v. Continuation would endanger the solvency of the insurer.
