Common use of Cancellation of Existing Securities and Agreements Clause in Contracts

Cancellation of Existing Securities and Agreements. On the Effective Date, except to the extent otherwise provided in the Plan, all notes, instruments, certificates, credit agreements, indentures, and other instruments or documents directly or indirectly evidencing Claims or Interests shall be cancelled, and the obligations of the Debtors thereunder or in any way related thereto shall be deemed satisfied in full, cancelled, discharged, and of no further force or effect whatsoever. Holders of or parties to such cancelled instruments, Securities, and other documentation will have no rights arising from or relating to such instruments, Securities, and other documentation, or the cancellation thereof, except the rights provided for pursuant to this Plan.
