Cancellation or Expiration Clause Samples

The "Cancellation or Expiration" clause defines the terms and conditions under which an agreement may be ended before its natural conclusion or upon reaching its predetermined end date. Typically, this clause outlines the procedures for notifying the other party, any required notice periods, and the consequences of cancellation or expiration, such as final payments or the return of confidential information. Its core function is to provide a clear framework for ending the contractual relationship, thereby reducing uncertainty and potential disputes when the agreement is terminated or expires.
