Common use of CANCELLATION & POSTPONEMENT Clause in Contracts

CANCELLATION & POSTPONEMENT. (a) If a Client wishes to cancel or postpone a photography shoot, then this should be made in writing to the Photographer and Studio at least 24 hours prior to the booked shoot. (b) A booking is considered firm as from the date of confirmation and accordingly the Photographer and Studio will, at their discretion, charge a fee of cancellation or postponement. (c) If a photography shoot is cancelled, the non-refundable deposit will be taken as a retainer, and additional fees may apply for extra expenses and/or time incurred prior to the cancellation.
