Common use of CASUAL WORKERS Clause in Contracts

CASUAL WORKERS. A. Casual Worker positions shall be defined as Stadium Clean-up and Special Event Clean-up, excluding summer work. B. Casual work positions shall be posted as defined in Section 5.03 of this Agreement. C. Bargaining unit employees who are assigned casual work shall earn seniority credit in the Custodial Career Progression defined in Section 1.01 of this Agreement. D. Notwithstanding Article 1, Section 1.01 of this Agreement, casual workers hired from outside the bargaining unit shall not be considered part of the bargaining unit and shall not be subject to the provisions of this Agreement.
