Category of use. 2.3.1. Normal tyre is a tyre intended for normal road use only. 2.3.2. Special use tyre is a tyre intended for mixed use, both on and off road and/or at restricted speed. Snow tyre is a tyre whose tread pattern, or tread pattern and structure, is primarily designed to ensure, in mud and fresh or melting snow, a performance better than that of a Normal Tyre.
