Common use of Cease Acting Clause in Contracts

Cease Acting. (a) The Authorised Representative will immediately upon receipt of notification of the suspension of his or her authority, cease acting as the Licensee's authorised representative. (b) Where the Authorised Representative has been suspended in accordance with this clause 13, until the suspension has been lifted, the Licensee may, for the duration of the period of suspension, take any steps it deems necessary to provide services (including financial services) to Clients that require, or are likely to require, the provision of services. The Business and the Authorised Representative will execute any documents required to allow the Licensee to provide such services to the Clients.
