Common use of CEP COMMITTEE Clause in Contracts

CEP COMMITTEE. The Committee shall be composed of two (2) representatives: one (1) from the Association and one (1) from the Administration. Any expansion of the committee shall be by agreement of the parties. The committee shall serve to review CEP applications and educational reimbursement requests under the terms set forth herein and in the collective bargaining agreement. If the committee is unable to agree upon a particular CEP Application or Educational Reimbursement Request the matter shall be resolved by the Chief in conjunction with the Association President and a third party agreed upon by the parties. The committee shall undertake such other studies and activities as are agreed upon by the parties consistent with the purpose of the program. Any recommendations of the committee that affect wages, hours, terms and conditions of employment shall be subject to agreement by the Association and the City.
