Common use of Certificate of Qualification Clause in Contracts

Certificate of Qualification. During collective bargaining, the Company and the Union had discussions regarding the applicability of the “Red Seal Certificate of Qualification”. In the event it is determined that the Red Seal is no longer being recog- nized (Inter-provincial Red Seal) in the Province of On- tario or other Canadian jurisdictions, the Company and the Union agree to amend Article 77 – Apprenticeship Program of the Collective Agreement to reflect this change.
