Common use of Certificate Requirements Clause in Contracts

Certificate Requirements. (a) It is agreed that certificates lesser than those shown on the existing job specifications will not be utilized except for relief purposes or whenever no suitable applicants with higher certificates are available for regular appointments. (b) Where no suitable applicants are available, appointment will not be made recognizing a lesser certificate without prior consultation with the Union.
