Common use of Certification and Training Clause in Contracts

Certification and Training. Contractor agrees to obtain training and/or certification in order to safely dispense aviation fuel and to perform all other duties required to be performed by Contractor pursuant to this Agreement in a safe and competent manner. Contractor agrees to be approved by Av Fuel to dispense aviation fuel including jet fuel, prior to commencing duties pursuant to this Agreement. Further, Contractor agrees to obtain any additional training or certification, or re-training or re-certification, at contractor’s expense, that is necessary to safely and competently perform the duties required of him pursuant to this Agreement. Proof of certification, training, and/or approval shall be provided to the City upon request.
