Common use of Certification of Coverage Clause in Contracts

Certification of Coverage. Prior to the performance of any A/Eing Services, A/E shall furnish County with a Certificate of Insurance issued by the insurer evidencing the required coverages and terms under this article. The initial Certificate of Insurance is evidenced as Exhibit F herein entitled “Certificates of Insurance.” As further set out below, A/E shall not allow any subcontractor/subconsultant(s) to commence work to be performed in connection with this Agreement until all required insurance has been obtained and approved and such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. Approval of the insurance by County shall not relieve or decrease the liability of A/E hereunder.
