Common use of Certification of Coverage Clause in Contracts

Certification of Coverage. Prior to the performance of any Services, Consultant shall furnish County with a Certificate of Insurance issued by the insurer evidencing the required coverages and terms under this article. As further set out below, Consultant shall not allow any subcontractor/subconsultant(s) to commence work to be performed in connection with this Agreement until all required insurance has been obtained and approved and such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. Approval of the insurance by County shall not relieve or decrease the liability of Consultant hereunder.
