Certification Procedures. 1. Sanitary and phytosanitary certification procedures shall be harmonized with international standards of the OIE and IPPC and Codex Alimentarius Commission (FAO). 2. The importing Party may conduct a prior evaluation and audit of some or all of the certification process and the provision of production, processing and / or treatment of animal products and by-products of animal and plant products and by- products of plant origin.
