Cessation of Effectiveness Sample Clauses
The Cessation of Effectiveness clause defines the point at which a contract or specific provisions within it are no longer legally binding or enforceable. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions or events—such as expiration of the agreement, fulfillment of obligations, or occurrence of a specified date—that trigger the end of the contract’s effectiveness. Its core practical function is to provide clarity for both parties regarding when their rights and responsibilities under the agreement come to an end, thereby preventing disputes over ongoing obligations.
