Common use of Change Directives Clause in Contracts

Change Directives. The Owner may direct a change in the Work within the general scope hereof without agreement on the impact of the change, if any, on the Contract Sum or Contract Time, by issuing a Change Directive in writing and signed by the Owner. Upon receipt of a Change Directive, the Design/Builder shall proceed with such services expeditiously and promptly provide the Owner with its proposed change to the Contract Sum, Contract Time and schedule on account of the Change Directive.
