Change in Effective Control of the Company Sample Clauses

A change-in-effective-control-of-the-company clause defines what happens if there is a significant shift in who controls the company, such as through a merger, acquisition, or transfer of a majority of voting shares. This clause typically outlines the rights and obligations of the parties if such a change occurs, which may include triggering early termination rights, requiring notice, or allowing for renegotiation of contract terms. Its core function is to protect parties from unforeseen changes in company leadership or ownership that could affect the business relationship or the performance of contractual obligations.
