Common use of Change in Rates Clause in Contracts

Change in Rates. A. We may increase the alarm response fee provided for at any time after the expiration of the initial term of this Agreement, but not more than once in any 12-month period, and upon giving you written notice 30 days in advance of the effective date of the increase. If you do not want to pay the increased charge, you may cancel the then unexpired term of this Agreement by notifying us in writing 30 days prior to the effective date of the increase. B. We may at any time increase the alarm response fees to reflect increases in federal, state, and local taxes, and municipal fees and charges, which are imposed on us and which relate to the services provided under this Agreement. You must pay all increased monitoring fees.
