Common use of Change of Company Name Clause in Contracts

Change of Company Name. The Employer agrees that in the event of a change of name being made for the Employer’s Company, the Employer will notify the Union in writing, specifying the new Company name. At the request of the Union, the Employer will join in filing an application to the Canada Industrial Relations Board asking that the certification held by the Union be amended to reflect the new name of the Company.
