Common use of CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP OR OCCUPANCY Clause in Contracts

CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP OR OCCUPANCY. When a change of occupancy or of legal responsibility takes place on any premises being served by the Cooperative, notice of such change shall be given at least three (3) business days prior to such change. The outgoing consumer will be held responsible for all service supplied until such notice has been processed by the Cooperative. Notice of such change is the responsibility of the outgoing consumer.
