Change Order Procedures. 7.3.1 Contractor shall provide a Change Order Request and Cost Proposal pursuant to Article 4.2 and this Article 7.3 of the General Conditions. Adjustments of the Contract Sum resulting from Extra Work and Deductive Work shall be determined using one of the methods described in this Article 7.3. Adjustments of the Contract Time shall be subject to the provisions in Article 8. Contractor’s obligation to provide Cost Proposals shall be subject to the following: .1 The obligation of Contractor to provide Cost Proposals is not Extra Work, and shall not entitle the Contractor to an adjustment of the Contract Sum or Contract Time. .2 The failure of Contractor to timely provide a Cost Proposal pursuant to Article 4.2 and this Article 7.3.1 is a material breach of the Contract. Contractor shall be responsible for any delay in implementing a change for which Contractor failed to timely provide a Cost Proposal consistent with the requirements of Article 4.2 and this Article 7.3.1.
