Common use of Change Order Sum Clause in Contracts

Change Order Sum. Unless the parties fail to agree to the Change Order Sum and the Change Order Work is authorized to proceed under a Force Account Change Order, the agreed Change Order Sum shall be a lump sum (“Lump Sum Change Order”) and CM/GC shall be paid the Change Order Sum upon completion of the Change Order Work without the need to submit back-up proving the actual costs incurred.
