CHANGE ORDERS AND AMENDMENTS. Any additional expenditures for additional costs which were reasonably unforeseen by both Parties after the work commences, may be approved at the sole discretion of County Superintendent, through properly approved change order(s) signed and in writing by both Parties. Significant or major contractual changes may require an immediate or emergency procurement at the discretion of the County Superintendent and/or County Manager, authorized through a contractual amendment to this Agreement, which may be initially approved by the County Superintendent and County Manager and subject to later ratification and approval by the Board of County Commissioners. All change order(s) and or contractual amendment(s) shall be expressly subject to the appropriation and availability of County funds.
