Change Status Clause Samples

The Change Status clause defines the process and conditions under which the status of a project, contract, or deliverable may be modified during the course of an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the steps required to request, approve, and document any changes to the current status, such as shifting a project phase from 'in progress' to 'completed' or updating the status of a deliverable due to unforeseen circumstances. By establishing a clear procedure for status changes, the clause ensures transparency and accountability, helping all parties stay informed and aligned while minimizing disputes over project progress or contractual obligations.
