Change to Existing Classifications. (i) Where the primary function or qualifications of a position in any classification covered by this Collective Agreement are significantly altered the Employee and the Union shall receive fourteen (14) calendar days notice. (ii) Where the Employer is required by statute or regulation to increase the qualifications of a position or classification, the Employer shall provide the incumbent(s) with a reasonable period of time to obtain the required qualifications and provide proof of qualifications.
