Class Attendance. Section 22. A - All new custodians hired after the ratification of this Agreement will receive basic custodial orientation to include housekeeping skills, building security, emergency procedures and routing task assignment. This orientation shall be conducted by the qualified Head Custodian at the site where the new employee is assigned. Said orientation shall include up to a maximum of eight (8) accumulative hours during the probationary period of employment. New employees must successfully complete the basic custodian orientation, which may include a comprehensive written test, in order to complete the probationary period and to be eligible to bid on open positions.
