Common use of Class Cancellations Clause in Contracts

Class Cancellations. 8.3.1 The minimum class size is 15 enrolled by the first day of class and 20 enrolled by the end of the week 2 and an ongoing minimum of 15 students attending on a weekly basis; if enrollment drops below 15 for more than three (3) weeks in a row, the class will be cancelled; 8.3.2 It is the instructor’s responsibility to cancel classes that don’t meet the minimum enrollment or attendance; 8.3.3 The District retains the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment once the enrollment is processed; 8.3.4 If a class is cancelled, instructors will be paid for all class meetings held.
