Common use of CLASSIFICATION ANNIVERSARY DATE Clause in Contracts

CLASSIFICATION ANNIVERSARY DATE. The date upon which an employee is granted salary step advancement. For persons assigned to a classification during the first sixteen (16) days of the month, the anniversary date is the first of that month. If assigned to a classification after the sixteenth of the month, the anniversary date is the first of the next month. Classification dates will not change when employees change to a new classification assigned to the same salary range as the previous classification.
