Classification Referee Sample Clauses

The Classification Referee clause designates an independent third party to resolve disputes regarding the classification or categorization of goods, services, or other contractual elements. In practice, if the parties disagree on how an item should be classified under the contract—such as whether a product meets a certain standard or falls within a specific category—the referee reviews the relevant information and makes a binding determination. This clause ensures that classification disputes are settled efficiently and impartially, preventing prolonged disagreements and facilitating smooth contract performance.
