Classification Seniority. For employees in classes in Units 2, 3, and 7, "Classification Seniority" is defined as the length of service in a job classification with the State of Minnesota, beginning with the date an employee begins to serve a probationary appointment. For employees in classes in Units 4 and 6, Classification Seniority is no longer used.
