CLEC may obtain LifeLine or Link Sample Clauses

This clause grants the Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) the right to access and provide LifeLine or Link services, which are government-subsidized telecommunications programs for eligible low-income consumers. In practice, this means the CLEC can enroll qualifying customers in these programs and receive the associated subsidies or support from relevant authorities. The core function of this clause is to ensure that the CLEC can participate in universal service initiatives, thereby expanding affordable service options to underserved populations and complying with regulatory requirements.
CLEC may obtain LifeLine or Link. Up indicator data from PACIFIC, SNET or SBC-AM–IL’s existing retail CSR for the End User for the sole purpose of enabling CLEC to determine whether the End User may be eligible for any similar program(s) CLEC may offer.
