Cloud Sample Clauses
The 'Cloud' clause defines the terms and conditions under which cloud-based services or resources are provided and used within the agreement. It typically outlines the responsibilities of both the service provider and the customer regarding access, data storage, security, and service availability in the cloud environment. For example, it may specify how data is handled, who is responsible for backups, and what happens in the event of a service outage. The core function of this clause is to ensure both parties understand their obligations and rights when utilizing cloud services, thereby reducing misunderstandings and managing risks associated with cloud computing.
