Coma Benefit. In the event of the continuous unconsciousness of the insured person caused solely and independently by an injury or sickness the insurer will pay to the insured up to a maximum amount per week stated in the schedule for each full week of continuous unconsciousness, but not beyond the benefit period stated in the schedule.
