Command Post. The Incident Commander will assess the emergency situation and, if appropriate, establish a Command Post. The Incident Commander should also declare a Response Level according to the Response Level Criteria listed in this section. Upon notification of a hazardous material emergency, the Deputy Fire Coordinator will contact the Incident Commander to assess the situation. This contact can be made by radio, telephone or personal contact.
