Commencement and Place of Arbitration Clause Samples

The Commencement and Place of Arbitration clause defines when arbitration proceedings officially begin and where they will be held. Typically, this clause specifies the event or notice that triggers the start of arbitration, such as the delivery of a written request, and designates a specific city or country as the venue for hearings and procedural matters. By clearly establishing both the timing and location of arbitration, this clause helps prevent disputes over jurisdiction and logistical arrangements, ensuring a smoother and more predictable resolution process.
