Commencement of Engineering Services Sample Clauses

The 'Commencement of Engineering Services' clause defines when the engineering services under a contract are to begin. Typically, this clause specifies a particular date, event, or condition—such as receipt of a notice to proceed or fulfillment of certain prerequisites—that triggers the start of the services. By clearly establishing the starting point for the contractor’s obligations, this clause ensures both parties have a mutual understanding of when work is to commence, thereby preventing disputes over scheduling and responsibilities.
