Commencement of Performance. (a) FIRM will not commence or perform any work under this Agreement until: (i) FIRM furnishes proof of insurance as required under Section 20 of this Agreement; and, (ii) The City Engineer gives FIRM a written notice to proceed. (b) Should FIRM begin work on any phase in advance of receiving written authorization to proceed, any such professional services are at FIRM's own risk.
