COMMENCEMENT OF WORK, PROJECT SCHEDULE. AND SCHEDULING OBLIGATIONS A. At any time prior to the date of issuance of a Notice to Proceed as set forth below, Owner may issue a limited notice to proceed (“Limited Notice to Proceed” or “LNTP”) which shall authorize Contractor to commence performance of a specified portion of the Work. An LNTP shall specify the maximum total cost of such specified Work, and Contractor shall be paid for such specified Work pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, with all such payments credited against the Estimated Contract Price.

  • Commencement of Work Engineer shall not commence any field work under this Contract until he/she/it has obtained all required insurance and such insurance has been approved by County. As further set out below, Engineer shall not allow any subcontractor/subconsultant(s) to commence work to be performed in connection with this Contract until all required insurance has been obtained and approved and such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. Approval of the insurance by County shall not relieve or decrease the liability of Engineer hereunder.

  • Project Schedule Construction must begin within 30 days of the date set forth in Appendix A, Page 2, for the start of construction, or this Agreement may become null and void, at the sole discretion of the Director. However, the Recipient may apply to the Director in writing for an extension of the date to initiate construction. The Recipient shall specify the reasons for the delay in the start of construction and provide the Director with a new start of construction date. The Director will review such requests for extensions and may extend the start date, providing that the Project can be completed within a reasonable time frame.

  • PROJECT WORK PLAN The Statement of Work is the formal document incorporated into the Grant. The Project Work Plan documents how the Grantee will achieve the performance measures outlined in the Grant. Changes to the Statement of Work require an amendment. Project Work Plans may be changed with written approval from DFPS and the Grantee.

  • Commencement and Completion of Work The professional services to be performed pursuant to this Agreement shall commence within five (5) days from the Effective Date of this Agreement. Failure to commence work in a timely manner and/or diligently pursue work to completion may be grounds for termination of this Agreement.

  • Statement of Work The Statement of Work to which Grantee is bound is incorporated into and made a part of this Grant Agreement for all purposes and included as Attachment A.
