Common use of Commitment to Collective Bargaining Clause in Contracts

Commitment to Collective Bargaining. 22.1 Council is committed, during the life of this Agreement to bargain collectively with the parties to this Agreement in respect of employees whose terms and conditions have traditionally been covered by the Local Government Employees Award. The terms and conditions of this Award and this Agreement shall apply to new employees as they do to current employees.

During the life of this Agreement and in its re-negotiation, Council undertakes to bargain collectively with the parties to this Agreement in respect of employees whose terms and conditions have traditionally been covered by the Local Government Employees Employees' Award. The terms and conditions of this Award and this Agreement shall apply to new employees as they do to current employees.
