Communications Capability. The Authorized Participant has the capability to send and receive authenticated communications to and from the (i) Distributor, (ii) the Custodian (as defined below in Section 5 hereof), (iii) the Subcustodian (as defined below in Section 5 hereof) in the case of International Funds (see Section 7(b) below), and (iv) the Authorized Participant’s custodian. The Authorized Participant shall confirm such capability to the reasonable satisfaction of the Distributor, the Custodian and the Subcustodian prior to placing its first order with the Transfer Agent (whether it is a Purchase Order or a Redemption Order).
