Common use of Community Standards and Prohibited Items Clause in Contracts

Community Standards and Prohibited Items. a. The Resident agrees to abide by all University of Montana and UM Housing policies and community standards, as stated in the U niversity of Montana Student Conduct Code, and in the U M Housing Student Handbook. Policies addressed include, but are not limited to: prohibited items, alcohol, drugs, smoking, and noise. b. Residents living in the residence halls are expected to complete certain educational, University-wide programs and events as a part of their community membership. The residence hall activities include all semester opening, closing, and any other floor meetings; University Convocation; Step Up! Training; orientation and Griz Welcome events; occasional one-on-one conversations with their Resident Assistant.
