COMPACTION OF SOLID WASTE. 971 The Authority, or its designee, reserve the right to compact some or all of Authority’s Solid Waste prior to 972 delivery to the Landfill. In such case, the Transfer Company shall deliver compacted Solid Waste in transfer 973 vehicles, and such Solid Waste shall not be baled. The Authority shall provide Contractor Notice of its 974 intent to deliver compacted Solid Waste to the Landfill no later than ninety (90) Days prior to the start 975 date of the deliveries of compacted Solid Waste. Contractor shall receive the compacted Solid Waste and 976 Dispose of the Solid Waste in the Landfill. Contractor shall be compensated for receipt and Disposal of 977 compacted Solid Waste at the Disposal Rate defined by this Agreement. Parties agree that this change to 978 delivery of compacted Solid Waste shall not be treated as a modification in the scope of service pursuant 979 to Section 4.20 and shall not require an amendment to the Agreement. 980 981 ARTICLE 5.
COMPACTION OF SOLID WASTE. If the Solid Waste within any Container supplied to or used by any Commercial Customer should include a substantial amount of compacted Solid Waste, or any other Solid Waste that has been subjected to a process modifying its composition or nature resulting in the reduction of its volume because of an increase in density, Contractor may assess, and the City shall charge against such Commercial Customer, an additional charge equal to the difference in compacted and uncompacted Solid Waste service rates set forth in the Rate Schedule.

  • Solid Waste Solid Waste collection shall be pursuant to Town regulations.

  • NOISE/WASTE The Tenant agrees not to commit waste on the premises, maintain, or permit to be maintained, a nuisance thereon, or use, or permit the premises to be used, in an unlawful manner. The Tenant further agrees to abide by any and all local, county, and State noise ordinances.

  • Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Contractor understands that HHS does not tolerate any type of fraud, waste, or abuse. Violations of law, agency policies, or standards of ethical conduct will be investigated, and appropriate actions will be taken. Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 321.022, if the administrative head of a department or entity that is subject to audit by the state auditor has reasonable cause to believe that money received from the state by the department or entity or by a client or contractor of the department or entity may have been lost, misappropriated, or misused, or that other fraudulent or unlawful conduct has occurred in relation to the operation of the department or entity, the administrative head shall report the reason and basis for the belief to the Texas State Auditor’s Office (SAO). All employees or contractors who have reasonable cause to believe that fraud, waste, or abuse has occurred (including misconduct by any HHS employee, Grantee officer, agent, employee, or subcontractor that would constitute fraud, waste, or abuse) are required to immediately report the questioned activity to the Health and Human Services Commission's Office of Inspector General. Contractor agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and System Agency policies regarding fraud, waste, and abuse including, but not limited to, HHS Circular C-027.   • Compaction 11.1 Concrete shall be thoroughly compacted and fully worked around the reinforcement, around embedded fixtures and into corners of the formwork. 11.2 Concrete shall be compacted using mechanical vibrators complying with IS 2505, IS 2506, IS 2514 and IS:4656. Over vibration and under vibration of concrete are harm full and shall be avoided. Vibration of very wet mixes shall also be avoided. Whenever vibration has to be applied externally, the design of formwork and the disposition of vibrators shall receive special consideration to ensure efficient compaction and to avoid surface blemishes.
